Terms & Conditions – Chrysidis Pet Care

Welcome to Chrysidis Pet Care, a home-based dog boarding and day care service based in Bensham, Gateshead. By using our services or accessing our website (www.chrysidis.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Our Services
We provide the following services:
Dog Boarding (£24/night) Dog Day Care (£19/day) Dog Walking (after 4pm – £11/walk) All services are crate-free and delivered in a calm, home-based environment with a maximum of 1–2 dogs at a time.
2. Bookings & Payments
Bookings can be made via Rover or directly with Chrysidis Pet Care. Rover bookings are subject to Rover’s terms and are paid in advance through their platform. Direct bookings can be paid in cash, via bank transfer, or PayPal—on the day or weekly. Please confirm bookings in writing (email, SMS, or Rover message).
3. Trial Days & Home Visits
Trial days and home visits are available on weekdays after 4pm or weekends anytime, by prior arrangement. Trial days are charged as normal day care unless otherwise agreed.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance (for day care) or 72 hours in advance (for boarding) will not incur charges. Short-notice cancellations may be charged at full or partial rate. For Rover bookings, cancellation policies are managed through Rover.
5. Dog Behaviour & Requirements
To ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs:
All dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs Vaccinations, flea, and worm treatments must be up to date Please inform us of any behavioural or medical conditions at the time of booking Aggressive or highly reactive dogs cannot be accepted without prior discussion
6. Medical Care & Emergencies
We can administer oral and topical medications as directed In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact you or your emergency contact and take the dog to the nearest available vet Any vet bills incurred remain the responsibility of the dog’s owner
7. Liability
Chrysidis Pet Care takes every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care We are not liable for unforeseen injury, illness, or escape unless due to proven negligence We are not responsible for damage caused by your dog to property or other animals during their stay
8. Photos & Social Media
With your permission, we may share photos or videos of your dog on our website or social media channels for promotional purposes. Let us know if you’d prefer not to have your pet featured.
9. Website Use
All content on www.chrysidis.com is the property of Chrysidis Pet Care and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
